Ronald Lloyd Brooks, 51, of Batesville died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, in North Little Rock.

Born May 21, 1955, in Mount Pleasant, he was the son of Ruddell and Iretta Dees Brooks.

He was a truck driver and a member of Old Glaze Baptist Church in Bradford.

Survivors include his mother of Kennett, Mo.; his wife, Gaye Brooks of Batesville; three sons, Joe Brooks and Tim Brooks, both of Batesville, and Mike Brooks of Bradford; three stepsons, Garrett Lassabbe of Gulfport, Miss., Homer Small of Hawaii and Bo MacHenry Small of Batesville; a stepdaughter, Tiffany Small of Batesville; three brothers, Alan Brooks of Blytheville and Terry Brooks and Tony Brooks, both of Batesville; four sisters, Wanda Goodrich and Vicky Rudd, both of Kennett, Tabatha Bunch of Cave City and Kay Guthrie of Newport; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Dale Brooks; two uncles, Kenneth Brooks and Jerry Brooks; a niece, Jennifer Rudd; and a sister, Cherry Brooks.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Willis-Hays Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bruce Morris officiating.

Burial will be in Barren Fork Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Cooley, Wade Cooley, John Midkiff, Tony Guthrie, Bobby Joe Franks and Carl Prince.

Honorary pallbearers are Bo Bunch, Larry Cooley, James Westbrook, Cody Westbrook, Carl Goodrich, Sam Goodrich and Johnny Rudd.
