Hal Millsap, Sr., Siloam Grocer, Dies
Siloam Springs — Hal Millsap Sr., 69, a prominent business man, died here early Sunday morning. A native a Red River County, Tex., he had been a resident here since 1932 when he opened his first grocery store. Since then he has owned and operated several chain stores in the Northwest Arkansas area. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by the widow, Robbie, of the home; a son, Hal Millsap Jr. of Siloam Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Odis Saylor of Ozark and Mrs. Lillian Rice of Oklahoma City and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery under direction of the Pyeatte Funeral Service.
