FUNERAL SERVICE THURSDAY FOR SILOAM SP’GS MAYOR
Funeral services for Mayor A.F. Hennigh of Siloam Springs, aged 69, who died suddenly at 5 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 14th, from a heart attack while burning off a grass lot at his home, were held Thursday afternoon at the First Methodist Church at Siloam Springs, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Lee R. Lemming. Burial was at Siloam Springs.
Mayor Hennigh was a native of Center County, Pennsylvania. He came to Siloam Springs from Chouteau, Okla. in 1915. With his partner, Sam Smith, he had been engaged in auctioneering and the real estate business at Siloam Springs for 20 years. He had been twice elected mayor. He was a member of the Siloam Springs Rotary Club.
