SMITH, J.F. - Funeral services for J.F. Smith, age 84 years, who died suddenly at his home in Siloam Springs Wednesday of last week, were held from the Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs Friday afternoon with interment in the Siloam Springs cemetery. Mr. Smith was a former resident of Gentry, having lived here from 1902 to 1920. He came here from Missouri and moved to Siloam Springs in 1920. He was the father of the late Mrs. A. Brogdon. The deceased is survived by his wife, three daughters and two sons. A. Brogdon and children attended the funeral services at Siloam.

SMITH, Mrs. J.F. - Mrs. J.F. Smith died at her home in Siloam Springs Monday afternoon, Nov. 1, 1926. This is sad news to the many friends of Mrs. Smith who live here. She is the mother of Mrs. Adolphus Brogdon and for many years was a resident of this town where they took an active part in church and civic work. Funeral services were held at Siloam Springs Wednesday followed by interment in the Oak Lawn cemetery.
