Willie Albert King, age 70, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away May 20, 2011, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Heber Springs. Born March 29, 1941, in Humphrey, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Walter King and Lavern Stanridge King.
Mr. King was a truck driver and farmer and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Higden First Pentecostal Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. King was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Val King.
Mr. King is survived by his wife, Virginia King of Quitman; one son, Willie Eugene King and wife, Bonnie, of Monroe, Louisiana; one daughter, Carrie Frances Pitta and husband, Lee, of Fremont, California; one brother, Billy King of San Leandro, California; one sister, Mary Mott and husband, Dennis, of Springfield, Oregon; and three grandchildren, Danelle Blondin, Nicholas King, and Tabitha Mud. Mr. King is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
