Rogers -- A. Gailey Moad, 77, died at his home in the Pleasant Hill community last night. He was born Sept. 18, 1887 at Jenny Lind and moved to Benton County in 1936. He was a farmer and a member of the Rogers Methodist Church.

Survivors include the widow, Ina May Moad of the home; one son, Gailey P. of Grand View, Mo.; four daughters, Mrs. Jessie Fern Belden of Wichita, Kan., Mrs. Tijuana Gage of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Lucille James of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Margaret Price of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Curtis of Big Springs, Tex., James Dewey of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jodie F. of Cheyenne, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Lora Mitchell and Mrs. Maude Hibler, both of Harmon, Okla.; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Burns Chapel. Burial in Rogers Cemetery.

Mrs Ina May Moad, 84, resident of Pleasant Hill Community near Rogers, died Dec. 28 in St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kan. Born Nov. 24, 1891, in Whitman, Neb., she was the daughter of J.R. and Melinda Jackson Fimple, was raised in Nebraska and married A. Gailey Moad on Feb. 7, 1909, in Grand Junction, Colo. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church and a 50-year member of the Martha Chapter of the Eastern Star at Rogers.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Jessie Fern Belden, Wichita, Mrs. Tijuana Gage, St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Lucille James, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Margaret Price, Oklahoma City, Okla.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Burns Funeral Chapel in Rogers, with Rev. Paul Farley officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under direction of Burns. An Eastern Star service will be conducted in Burns Chapel immediately following the funeral message.
