Angel Elizabeth Fortner, 20, of Rose Bud, died Monday (Dec. 15, 2003) in an automobile accident.Born Nov. 10, 1983, in Searcy, a daughter of Donny Doy and Peggy Sue Hall Fortner, she attended the Arkansas School for Math and Sciences and was a graduate of Rose Bud High School. She was attending Arkansas State University in Beebe and was a member of the Gravel Hill Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Rev. Faber Hall, and her paternal grandparents, Dolpus and Lilas Fortner.Survivors are her parents, Peggy and Isac Jauregui of Rose Bud and Donny Fortner of Greenbrier; three brothers, Rygel Fortner and Isaiah Jauregui, both of Rose Bud, and Donnie Dewayne Fortner of Greenbrier; a sister, Robin Madden of Greenbrier; and her grandmother, Dwade Hall of Rose Bud.Funeral services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Gravel Hill Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will be in Romance Cemetery.Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy with the family being at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.
