Jack E. Gorum, 72, Siloam Springs, died June 1 in Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 17, 1902, at Palestine, he was the son of Ira and Pauline Williams Gorum, a member of First United Methodist Church and moved to Siloam Springs from Bentonville in 1944. He was the former owner of Ozark Butaue Co. and retired in 1964.
Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Jerry Hopkins officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wasson.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clarice Gorum of the home; one son, Charles Gorum, Siloam Springs; one daughter, Mrs. Sally Braht, Wichita, Kan., and four grandchildren.
