SPRINGDALE — Arthur Bernard Quell, 90, of Culpepper Place Assisted Living in Springdale died Jan. 9, 2008, at the Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born June 22, 1917, in Monroe, Mich., to August Quell and Bertha Roberts Quell. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He worked for Monroe Auto Equipment for 27 years and then for La-Z-Boy for 15 years. He was a member of the Siloam Springs Museum, Siloam Springs American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Quell, and a daughter, Patricia Ann Trapp.

Survivors include a son, Bernard Arthur Quell and wife Katherine E. Snyder of Little Rock; a daughter, Marie Susan Rollins and husband Chyle of Siloam Springs; a brother, Robert Quell of Monroe; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

A Rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Siloam Springs.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

SILOAM SPRINGS — Rose Susan Quell, 85, of Siloam Springs died March 22, 2005, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 14, 1920, in Monroe, Mich., to Mandy and Susan Nemth Pipis. She was a homemaker and a volunteer for the American Red Cross. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Siloam Springs. She married Arthur B. Quell in 1942. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Trapp.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Arthur of the home; one son, Bernard Quell and wife Katherine Snyder of Little Rock; one daughter, Marie Rollins and husband Chyle of Siloam Springs; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Reglin of Monroe, Mich., and Mary Pipis of Canada.

Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Siloam Springs with the Rev. Clayton Gould officiating. A rosary will be said at 5 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1996 Highway 412 East, Siloam Springs, 72761.
