Mrs. Freddie Jane Lamons, 82, former resident of Siloam Springs, died at 9:20 a.m., Wednesday, July 14, in Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 4, 1893 at St. Paul, Ark., the daughter of Andrew and Mattie Jackson. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Lamons is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Helen Griffin of Summers, Ark., Mrs. Winnie Russell, Mrs. Ruth Smith, and Mrs. Betty Jo Bean, all of Siloam Springs; one halfsister, Mrs. Lola Foster of Ceres, Calif.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 16, at Pyeatte's Funeral Home with Dr. L.A. Thomas officiating and Rev. James D. Keith assisting. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Pyeatte Funeral Service.
