SILOAM SPRINGS — Mary L. Sanders, 70, of Siloam Springs died June 7, 2006, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born May 30, 1936, in Crocker, Mo., to Earl Routh and Myra Mooney Routh. She enjoyed traveling after retiring as an elementary schoolteacher. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Gum Springs Baptist Church in Siloam Springs.
Survivors include her husband, Perry of the home; one son, Greg Sanders and grandson, Jason Sanders, both of Fayetteville, N.C.; two brothers, Bill Routh of Springfield, Mo., and Bob Routh of Lexington, Mo.; four sisters, Frances Spoon of Conroe, Texas, Peggy Holzman of Oakdale, Calif., Bonnie Bartlett of West Siloam Springs, Okla., and Barbara Henson of Belton, Mo.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gum Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. John Crowley and Dwight Hignite officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, online at www.wassonfuneralhome.com.
