FAYETTEVILLE — Ivan Burdick, 87, of Fayetteville died Jan. 26, 2002, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born June 28, 1914, in Chelsea, Okla., to James Carr and Helen Tency Lavalle Burdick.
He worked in the dietary department of the VA Medical Center and was a member of the DAV Dr. Gannon Post No. 3 and the American Legion Shelton Tucker Post No. 27. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Corine Shufflebeam Burdick of the home; three sisters, Betty Jo Clark of Owasso, Okla., Helen Ford of Skiatook, Okla., and Thelma Adams of Enid, Okla.; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church in Fayetteville. Burial will be in Round Mountain Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE — Gladys C. Burdick, 96, of Fayetteville died Feb. 25, 2008, at Fayetteville Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born Sept. 27, 1911, in Blum, Texas, to Herman and Edna May Holliway Stufflebeam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan C. Burdick, on Jan. 26, 2002.
She was a retired bank teller and volunteered at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Fayetteville City Hospital.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Fayetteville and the Disabled American Veterans Dr. Gannon Post 3 Auxiliary.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Tim Smith will officiate.
Burial will be in Round Mountain Cemetery.
