George Edward Fisher was an acclaimed American Political Cartoonist' He was the editorial cartoonist for the Arkansas Gazette. He was married to Rosemary Beryl Snook Fisher. She went by the nick name of "Snooky". They met in England during World War II. George would always incorporate her nick name "Snooky" into his cartoons.
