HILL, G.R.W. - G.R.W. Hill, residing three miles northwest of Rogers, committed suicide Friday afternoon by shooting himself squarely in the forehead with a 22-calibre target rifle. Death was instantaneous. Hill was about fifty years of age and came to this section several years ago from Illinois. He leaves a wife and three children. He had been an invalid for several years and ill health is supposed to have been the cause of the deed. The following note was found near the bed side: To my friend Stroud: See that I have a decent Woodman's funeral according to the ritual if possible. My sufferings are so great that I can't stand it any longer and I go by my own hand. G.R.W. Hill.
