Mrs Lorene Wilson, 83 of Conway, formerly of North Little Rock, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Mrs Wilson was born September 21, 1925 in Quitman to the late Charlie and Ella Jackson.

Mrs Wilson was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was always at home for her children, giving everyone lots of love and attention. She made wonderful peanut butter cookies and carrot cake. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Faith Baptist Fellowship in Naylor.

Mrs Wilson is survived by her husband of 62 years, Curtis Wilson; children Charlotte Engdahl and husband Joe of Vilonia, Carolyn Compton and husband William of Vilonia, Brenda Hare and husband Jerry Don of Conway, and Jerry Wilson and wife Margie of North Little Rock; three sisters; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Brian Hare, Kevin Hare, Ryan Engdahl, Jeremy Wilson, Robbie Sprague, Bobby Cook and Daniel Baxley.

Curtis L Wilson, 91, of Conway, formerly of Marche, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Salem Place Nursing and Rehabilitation.

He was born December 31, 1920, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, a son of the late Charles Leo and Martha Elizabeth (Downs) Wilson.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lorene (Jackson) Wilson.

Mr Wilson was a charter member of Faith Baptist Fellowship of Naylor.

A veteran of World War II, he served the United States Coast Guard in the Pacific Theatre. He retired in 1985 from Holbert's Rebuilt Auto Parts.

He is survived by his children, Charlotte Engdahl and Joe; Carolyn Compton and William all of Vilonia; Brenda Hare and Jerry of Conway; Jerry Wilson and Margie of North Little Rock; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and a number of nephews and nieces.

Brian Hare, Ryan Engdahl, Kevin Hare, Jeremy Wilson, Robbie Sprague, Daniel Baxley and Bobby Cook served as pallbearers.
