David Ranse Croy was born in Dawson County, Georgia. He was a son of William Ranse(Rands) and Catherine Perry Croy. David married Narcissus "Nars" Nancy E. Chandler August 7, 1887, in Cleburne County, Alabama.
Nancy was the daughter of George W. and Millie E. Wright Chandler.
David and Nars are the parents of William Washington, John Monroe, Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie", Pat, Sally, Eli Benjamin, George McKinley, Charity E, and Hattie M. Croy.
John Monroe Croy was my great-grandfather.
