George William Lee, 78 of Mt Vernon, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 4, 2011.
He was born September 16, 1932 in Paola, Kansas to the late William and Cora Smith Lee.
Mr Lee was a member of the Naylor First United Methodist Church, a past member of the Lion's Club & served in the US Air Force.
He is preceded in death also by one sister, Betty Cannon and one brother, Ronnie Lee.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Black Lee; two daughters, Denise Boyette and Rhonda Lee both of Mt. Vernon; 4 grandsons, Michael, Stephen and Drew Millsaps; and Trent Lee; 2 great grandsons, Tristen and Landen Millsaps; two sisters, Martha Garrison of Lawrence, KS; Billie Deane of Kansas City, KS; two brothers, Donnie Lee of Nebraska; David Lee of Lawrence, KS; several nieces and nephew
Interment at Romance Cemetery.
