ROGERS — Jack Paul Morris, 63, of Rogers died May 10, 2004, at St Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born Oct 17, 1940, in Odessa, Texas, to Paul H and EllaMae Glasgow-Hogan Morris. He moved to the area nine years ago from Dickinson, Texas. He was a Navy veteran. He enjoyed singing, hunting and fishing. He was a computer maintenance engineer for Lockheed at NASA at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas for more than 26 years. He graduated from Abundant Life School of Ministry. He was the recipient of the Man on the Moon Space Team Award.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Janice Morris, to whom he was married Aug. 23, 1958; one daughter, Carla Salinas and husband Cesar of League City, Texas; one grandchild, Caleb Morris Salinas.
Pallbearers were Ralph Shorter, Ralph Fairchild, Gordon Denny, Bob DeVoss, Sergei Storkov, Joe Shoemaker and Dale Ferguson.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church Memorial Fund, 1221 E. New Hope Road, Rogers, 72758.
