Freak Home Auto Accident Fatal to Lowell Woman, 48
A 48-year-old Lowell woman is dead following a freak accident at her residence off Cow Face Road Thursday morning, according to the Benton County Sheriff's Office.
Sandra Anne Rolen was apparently killed as she attempted to get out of her car, detective Harry Bloodworth said.
Rolen apparently hit the accelerator with her foot while trying to get out the car, causing the car to shoot forward.
She was killed when her head was pinned between the top of the door and the roof of the car.
Someone delivering a tractor to Rolen's residence found her about 9:45 am., Bloodworth said. The delivery man went next door to notify authorities.
Rolen was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lowell woman dies in accident
LOWELL — A Lowell woman is dead following an accident in the garage of her home Thursday morning.
Sandra Anne Rolen, 48, was apparently attempting to get out of her vehicle when her foot hit the accelerator, causing the car to shoot forward, pinning her head between the top of the door and the roof of the car, according to a report from the Benton County Sheriffs Office.
Rolen was found around 9:45 a.m., by a man attempting to deliver a tractor to the residence on Alto Road, near Cow Face Road, at around 9:45 a.m. The man went to a nearby residence to contact authorities, according to Detective Harry Bloodworth.
Rolen was pronounced dead at the scene.
