SPRINGDALE — Cecil Clyde White, 86, of Springdale died Sept. 25, 2004, at Springdale. He was born June 13, 1918, in Green Forest to William Authur and Ethyl Stark White. He was an Army veteran of World War II and he worked as a self-employed carpenter until he retired.

His wife, Juanita Jackson White, preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, Dale Eugene Fields of Garfield and William H. White of Springdale; one sister, Mary Drymon of Cave Springs; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale with the Rev. Ray Main officiating.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to p.m. today at the funeral home.

Juanita Faye White, 68, of Springdale, died Sunday, May 19, at her home.

Born July 27, 1922 in Rogers to Harvey H. and Winnie Orman Jackson, she was a lifetime resident of northwest Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gospel of Peace Tabernacle.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil White, of the home; two sons, William White, of Springdale, and Gene Fields, of Washburn, Mo.; three sisters, Omah Lair, Beulah Bilderback and Joetta Bilderback, all of Springdale; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Melvin Jackson.

Services are Wednesday, May 22, at 10 a.m. at the Gospel of Peace Tabernacle in Springdale with the Rev. Calvin Bilderback officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Rogers.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 250, Rogers, Ark., 72757.
