Coy E Daugherty, age 81, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011.
Coy retired from the Air Force as a Chief Master Sgt and then worked for a Colorado School District for 20 years.
Coy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend; he will be dearly missed.
He loved the game of golf, and his dream was to play at St Andrews in Scotland which he did after his retirement.
Coy was a man who loved to joke and always had a smile on his face.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janet Daugherty; a son, Mark (Rhonda) Daugherty of Dallas; a daughter Lisa (Alex) Antonio of Dallas; grandchildren, Megan Rush, Lauren Rush, Jordan Williams, and Dustin Antonio. Coy is survived by one sister, Geneva Ball of Beebe; aunts Charlene Smith of Beebe, and Faye Jones of Jacksonville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milus and Merle Daugherty and his faithful dog, Jock.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr Warren, Dr McCrary, Dr Campbell & nurses Cheryl, Daisy, Lena & Pam.
