Cox-Blevins Funeral Home
Mavis Ordell McNairn of Melbourne, daughter of the late Zeff Rochester McNairn and Julie Esther Chadwick McNairn, was born Jan. 22, 1923, in Franklin, Ark. She died April 9, 2007, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, at the age of 84. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: her brother and sister-in-law, Randell and Wyona McNairn of Evening Shade; a step-niece, Marlene Rivers and family of Evening Shade; her step-nephews, Bob Steel of Bismark, Mo., and Ronnie Steel of Yerington, Nev., and their families. She was preceded in death by: her brother, Dairl McNairn; and her father and mother.
Services were held April 12 at Cox-Blevins Chapel with burial in Wiseman Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem, Ark.
