Herschel Obit
Herschel Dan Ramey, 80, of Van Buren, Arkansas died Wednesday, January 31, 1996, at a local hospital. He was retired owner of Ramey Trash Service and a member of the Shamrock Community Church.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter Mary Ellen; one stepdaughter, Bobbie; one son; one stepson; four sisters, Tressie, Shirley; Vesta, and Edna; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Ocker Memorial Chapel. Burial was at Hall Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home. Pallbearers were his grandsons.

Mary Jane Ramey, 79, of Van Buren, Arkansas died Friday, August 5, 2005, in a local nursing home. She was a retired cook at Cedarville Senior Citizens, a member of Shamrock Community Church and the widow of Herschel Ramey.
Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Hall Cemetery near Natural Dam.
She is survived by a daughter; a son; a stepdaughter; a stepson; three sisters; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
