MIAMI, Okla. — Lonnie Kale Harris, 46, of Miami died July 12, 2006, at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo. He was born March 3, 1960, in Rogers to Berl Dean and Carolyn R. Borrow Harris. He was a longtime resident of Miami and a self-employed trader. He worked for Arkansas Freight Lines for seven years and was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Berl Dean and Mary Harris of Gravette; his mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Charles Piercefield of Quapaw, Okla.; one brother, David Harris of Quapaw; two half brothers, Jed Harris and Gabe Harris, both of Gravette; one stepbrother, Rocky Piercefield of Quapaw; one sister, Deborah Warren of Willard, Mo.; one half sister, Samantha of Centerton; one stepsister, Cindy Crowl of Oakland, N.C.; one grandmother, Effie Harris of Gravette.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami with the Rev. Raymond Scott and the Rev. Tim Warren officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ward Cemetery in Gravette.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
