She was 48 years old and the family is living in the old home of her father, the late Squire Breeze. Funeral services were held at the residence Sunday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock and were conducted by Rev. W. Lee Edwards, pastor of the Christian church. Burial was in the Rogers cemetery. Mrs. Noakes was born near Fort Worth, Texas January 27, 1881. The family came to Arkansas when she was a baby and she was married to Harvey Noakes at Rogers in 1898. After her marriage she lived in Oklahoma and New Mexico, the family returning to Rogers from Polk county, this state, some five years ago. Mrs. Noakes is survived by her husband and eight children: Mrs. Jennie Jackson and Roy Noakes of White Deer, Texas; Cleburne Noakes of Las Animas, Colo.; Mrs. Helen Cunningham, Misses Ella, Winnie and Lois and Vernon Noakes of Rogers. Mrs. Cunningham was visiting with Mrs. Jackson when their father(?) died and all of the children arrived home for the funeral.
