Rita Rae Blanton Born 6-28-1945 -- Died 5-23-2006
Rita Rae Blanton, 60, of Wiseman, daughter of William Eldon Oldfield and Clercie Irene Goodson Oldfield, was born June 28, 1945, in Wiseman. She died May 23, 2006, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
She was united in marriage to Ronald Junior Blanton on May 8, 1965, at Sycamore, Ill. She was employed by Tri-County Shirt Factory for many years and after its closing, she became an independent home health care provider. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Blanton, of the family home at Wiseman; her son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Carla Blanton of Salem; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother.
Graveside services were held May 26, at Wiseman Cemetery with arrangements by Cox-Blevins Funeral Home.
