MRS. EMILY PARKER
Mrs. Emily Parker, 70, 908 South Ninth St., Rogers, died May 18 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 30, 1904, in Oklahoma, she was a retired teacher in the Rogers Schools, a member of Central United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Parker of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Clayton (Mary Ellen) Barron, Fort Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Billy (Emily Jean) Kistler, Lufkin, Tex.; three sisters, Frances King, Nashville, Tenn., Carol Hickman, St. Paul, Minn., and Margaret Zimmerman, Olathe, Kan.; six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Callison Chapel, Rogers, with the Rev. William Connell officiating. Eastern Star graveside rites will be conducted in Rogers Cemetery and burial will be under the direction of Callison.
