Charles Floyd "Huck" Rodgers Jr served in the US Army WWII. Nancy Lou Edith (Lakey) Rodgers the daughter of William Charles Lakey - Baptist Preacher and Sadie (Cook) Lakey.

Nancy Lou Edith Rodgers, 88, of Walnut Ridge, AR., passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Born October 28, 1924, in Walnut Ridge, AR., the daughter of William Charles and Sadie Cook Lakey.

She was a Cosmetologist and member of the First Baptist Church at Sedgwick.

She was united in marriage to Charles "Huck" Rodgers March 17, 1947 who preceded her in death February 17, 1980.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Lou Rodgers in 1952, three sisters, Edna Medici, Bobby Prater and Polly Lakey and a brother, Bud Lakey.

Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Fowler and husband, Jerry of Sedgwick; two granddaughters, Holly Dever and husband, Billy, Crystal Moore and husband James; three great grandchildren, Alyssa Dever, Sadie Moore and Tyler Moore and many other relatives and friends.

Burial was held in the Old Military cemetery. Arrangements were by Bryan Funeral Home.
