Henry (Pete) Melvin Mitchell, 57, of Siloam Springs, died Monday at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 20, 1919 at Rochelle, Ga. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Genevie Mitchell of the home; a son, Rodney Mitchell of Siloam Springs; a daughter, Mary Younglove of Salazar, Colo.; two sisters, Mayola Rowland of Montezuma, Ga. and Neta Young of Tampa, Fla. two brothers, J. E. Mitchell of Oklahoma City and F. E. Mitchell of Orecha, Fla.
Services were held at 11 a.m. today at Pyeatte Chapel with Jim Voth officiating. Burial was in Norwood Cemetery.
