Norma Ella (Freeman) Phillips the daughter of Theodore and Marta Christine (Bystrom) Freeman. Norma was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star.
Norma Ella Freeman Phillips
Norma Ella Freeman Phillips, 82, of Ash Flat died Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, in Mountain Home. Born Aug. 14, 1928, in East Lake, Minn., she was the daughter of Theodore and Marta Christine Bystrom Freeman.
Survivors include four sons, Sam Huhta of Kettle River, Minn., William "Bill" Phillips of Cherokee Village, Jerry Phillips of Wasilla, Alaska, and Bruce Phillips of Ash Flat; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert "Bob" Freeman of Mount Vernon, Wash., and Richard Freeman of Issaquah, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommie Alford Phillips; a son, David Ray Phillips; a sister, Doris Mae Stromland; and a brother, Morrill "Bud" Freeman.
Burial was in Baker Cemetery in Izard County, south of Myron.
