Irene Howard, 75, a resident of Springdale, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, at her home. She was born Dec. 16, 1927, at Shirley to William and Tilly Crabtree Howard. She worked in housekeeping at Tyson Foods Inc. in Springdale. She was a Pentecostal.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Howard of Granite City, Ill., and Gaylen Howard of Springdale; one brother, David Howard of Gravette; one sister, Edna Duncan of Springdale; seven grandchildren, Marty Howard, David Howard, Dakotah Howard, Dane Howard, Denim Howard, Dwayne Howard and Michael Howard; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Howard, Michelle Howard and Kayla Wolfe.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2002, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Audie Long officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation begins at noon today at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Lowther, Aaron Lowther, Josh Barker, Gary Howard, Bradley Howard, Joseph Howard and Tim Reed.
