Prescott - March 7 - S. H. Shackelford, aged 63, died at his home near here today of pneumonia. He is survived by his wife and seven children: W. R. Shackelford, Farnam; Henry Shackelford of Prescott, Tom and Theade Shackelford, and Mrs. Ada Townsend of Blevins, Mrs. Ida Vickers of Emmet and Mrs. Hettie Carruthers of Prescott. Burial will be at Midway tomorrow. (Arkansas Gazette - March 8, 1917)
