Mrs. Vernell Pollock, 67, of Hot Springs died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at the National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs. A native of Ashley County and a Hot Springs resident for the past 40 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wylie and Ella Crawley Pollock, Sr., and two brothers, Clayton and J. W. Pollock. Survivors are a son, Ronald Pollock and wife Renee of Hamburg; a sister, Mattie Lloyd of Crossett; and three grandchildren. Brandy P. Harrison of San Angelo, TX, Eric Pollock of Jones, LA, and Cassandra Pollock of Hamburg. Grave-side services were at 2 p.m Monday, March 15, at the Mount Zion Cemetery with Rev. James Flemming officiating. Arrangements were by Jones Funeral Home of Hamburg.
