SPRINGDALE -- Anna May Proud, 82, of Springdale died Dec. 24, 1999, at Northwest Medical Center in Springale. She was born June 25, 1917, in Fayetteville to Joseph and Anna Hurley Baylon. She was a member of Oak Grove Full Gospel Church and was employed by Tyson Foods. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Harvey Proud, in 1986.

Survivors include two sons, John Proud and Kenneth Proud, both of Springdale; three daughters, Margaret Morrow of Hunt, Mary Lou Stall of Xenia, Ohio, and Karen McCormick of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one stepdaughter, Carolyn Awtowe of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Kelly Yarbrough and the Rev. Calvin Bilderback officiating.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Paul Stall, Steve McCormick, Bryan Proud, Josh Proud, Johnny Morrow and Billy Sampley. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Pellican, Ryan McCormick, Alex Stall, Randy Alderson and David O'Neal.
