SPRINGDALE — Daisy E. Bishop, age 90, of Springdale died Sept. 9, 2004, at Northwest Medical Center of Washington County in Springdale. She was born March 7, 1914, at Alabam to J.R. and Ella Perry Smith.

Sim was preceded in death by her husband, Massie Bishop on Sept. 24, 1984, to whom she married Oct. 21, 1933. She was a homemaker and a member of Robinson Avenue Church of Christ.

Survivors are niece Inez Long of Gentry; great-nephews Glenn Cate and wife Mary and Charles Cate and wife Sue, all of Springdale, Harold Long of Siloam Springs; great-nieces Patsy Setser and husband Ron of Tulsa, Okla., and Helen Beeman and husband Dan of Springfield, Mo.; numerous great-great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, at Sisco Chapel of Springdale with Gary Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rickey Cate, Mark Cate, Ryan Cate, Derek Jackson, Damon Jackson and Nathon Cate. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Hufhines, Larry Dotson, Roy Howard, Dub Deloach. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Robinson Avenue Church of Christ, 1506 W. Robinson Ave, Springdale, 72764.
