Thelma B. Graddy, 100, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 in Fayetteville. She was born March 30, 1912 in Corinth, Arkansas. The daughter of Thomas B. and Edna (Hunt) Graddy. She was an elementary school teacher, a business owner of a five and dime and a member of the Central United Methodist Church of Fayetteville.

She is survived by two children; Brenda (Graddy) Bailey of Fayetteville, Arkansas, John B. Graddy of Amelia Island, Florida, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2012, in the Convocation Room at Butterfield Trail Village, with Rev. Carl Palmer officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Clinton Memorial Cemetery in Clinton, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Central United Methodist Church, 6 West Dickson Street, Fayetteville, Ark. 72701, or the American Cancer Society.
