THOMAS RICHARDS
Thomas A. Richards, 75, Trudi Place, Springdale, died Aug. 24 in a nursing home. Born Jan. 10, 1902, in Arkansas, he was the son of Alfred and Ella Mae Milligan Richards. He was a former pastor of the First Baptist Church in Springdale and former owner of Snack Shack Cafe in Rogers and the Midway Barber Shop and a gun shop in Lowell.
Survivors include his wife, Roxie Clardy Richards of the home; one son, Finnis Dale Richards, Rogers; one daughter, Mrs. Gene (Anna Mary) Layman, Springdale; three brothers, Alfred Richards, Sacramento, Calif., Lonnie Richards, Olympia, Wash., and Elsie Richards, Springdale; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Callison Funeral Home, Rogers, with the Rev. Cliff Palmer and the Rev. Ben Rowell officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Callison.
