Dona May Dannels
FAYETTEVILLE — Dona May Dannels, 90, of Fayetteville died April 28, 2004, at her home. She was born July 4, 1913, in Bellvue, Colo., to Virgil and Emma May Strayer Lawrence. She moved to Benton County 60 years ago from Fort Collins, Colo. She was retired from Daisy Manufacturing. She was a member of the Rogers Organic Garden Club and Mountain Springs Baptist Church in Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Dannels.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Lee Petrie of Fayetteville and Bonny Lou Williams of Ozark; one son, Leland Dale Dannels of Siloam Springs; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mountain Springs Baptist Church in Rogers with the Rev. Bob Darter officiating. Burial will follow in Maysville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Danny Humphrey, Randall Ross, Bobby Dannels, James Dannels, Andy Ward and Terry Ward.
Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
