Anglee Mary Biles Eakes, 71, of Melbourne died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, in Batesville.

Born May 14, 1939, in Batesville, she was the daughter of Stanford and Zada Moser Biles. She was united in marriage to Jim Eakes.

She was a homemaker and was employed by Hutchins Greenhouse and Hometown Market. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of New Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Sage.

Survivors include a daughter, Theresa Barnes of Brockwell; two grandsons, Logan Barnes and Gage Barnes, both of Brockwell; a brother, Royal Biles of Wenatchee, Wash.; and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, Eiphram Biles and Edmon Biles.

The funeral was at 10 a.m. today at Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne with Wayne Wilson officiating. Burial was in Reeves Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.

Pallbearers were Kiefer Smith, Randall Lovelace, Derick Watts, Leon Brooks, Chuck Tate and Casey Tate.

Honorary pallbearers were Kenny Morrison, Eudell Smith, Tyler Wammack, Tony Gill and Logan Holladay.
