GORE, David B. - David B. Gore, Attorney at Law of Chicago, was drowned near the wagon bridge south of Maysville Wednesday night about midnight. Mr. Gore and wife had been visiting at the home of the latter's mother, Mrs. E.E. Tinnin, at Maysville and Mr. Gore, accompanied by his brother-in-law, were fishing on Spavinaw when the accident occurred. It seems that they were fishing from a precipice some distance above the water and Mr. Gore, losing his balance, fell into the creek. The water was shallow and from a severe bruise upon his forehead, evidently struck a rock which rendered him unconscious. Mr. Tinnin was unable to locate him in the dark and he went for aid. When the rescuing party arrived the body had floated into deep water and it was necessary to drag the creek to recover it. He was taken to the home of Dr. Powell to await funeral arrangements. The unfortunate man leaves a wife and three children and was about 35 years of age. The sympathy of friends is extended to those who are wounded in this sad accident.
