December 4, 1921 - February 7, 2009
Thelma Mae Arnold Dale, daughter of the late George Houston Arnold and Nancy Branscum Arnold was born Dec. 4, 1921 in Zion, AR. She died in Melbourne, AR at the age of 87. She married Emmit Dale on April 1, 1944 and to this union, two children were born. She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Coy (Betty) Dale; one daughter, Norma McCall; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; one brother, Ed Arnold; and one granddaughter, Stephanie Lee Dale. Funeral services were held Feb. 11 at Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne, AR with David Jennings and Bobby Cannon officiating. Burial was in the Caney Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Douglas Arnold, Ray Arnold, Lee Arnold, Jerry Arnold, Raymond Arnold and Demmie Arnold. Honorary pallbearers were Kevin Grissom, Chris Arnold and Doug Arnold.
