Johnnie Gene (Bud) Tucker died August 26, 2012 at the age of 80. Bud was born January 21, 1932 at Norfork, Arkansas. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War. Bud was an avid sportsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. He loved comparing stories of trophy deer with family and friends. When he wasn't outdoors, Bud enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his many family members. He passed peacefully in his sleep, a life well spent. Bud was preceded in death by his father William E Tucker and his mother Geneva K Tucker. He is survived by his brother; Bill (Norma) Tucker of Macon, GA, his sister; Bettie (Bill) King of Benton, LA, six nieces and nephews; Michael King, David King, Donna Pylant, Bill Tucker, Bob Tucker and Karen Tucker and fourteen great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 30, 2012, at 10 am in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 N, Alexander, Arkansas. Burial will be at 9:15 am at Forest Memorial Park with Brother Larry Ballard officiating. The family will receive visitors Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home.
