MELBOURNE - Carl Edward "Eddie" Williams, 64, of Melbourne died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2003, at a Batesville hospital.
Born July 28, 1939, at Lake Dick, he was the son of Frederick Eugene Williams and Lois Ruth Smith Williams. He was a car salesman for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Carla Bray of Tustin, Calif., and Meri Cascio of Orange, Calif.; two brothers, Bill Williams of San Jacinto, Calif., and Phillip Williams of Yucca Valley, Calif.; two sisters, Esther Bass of Santa Cruz, Calif., and Lela Christmas of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Ashlee Bray, Joey Cascio, Melissa Cascio and Jessica Cascio; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Paul Williams and Jim Williams.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Smith Cemetery at Lunenburg with Hoover Lewis officiating. Arrangements are by Howard Funeral Home of Melbourne.
Pallbearers will be Chris Williams, Eric Teague, Gary O'Neal, Wilson Teague, Howard Williams and Eudell Smith.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight.
