Obituary Earl
Earl Luther Hodges, 89, of Van Buren and formerly of Eldorado, Arkansas, died Monday, February 21, 1994, at a local hospital. He was a retired maintenance man for Stauffer Chemical Co. in Richmond, California a member of First Baptist Church in Van Buren, American Association of Retired Persons and Woodmen of the World, a charter member of Cedarville Baptist Church and a volunteer firefighter in El Cerrito, Califrornia.

Survivors include two daughters; Dee and Josephine; one son; two sisters, Mamie and Ruth; two stepsisters; Ellen and Thelma; one brother; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service was held Thursday at Ocker Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Robert Morrison and the Rev. Bryan Smith officiating. Burial was at Hall Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
