ROCKAWAY BEACH, Mo. -- Carroll C. Satterfield, 69, of Rockaway Beach died April 9, 2000, at Cox Hospital-South.
He was a retired installer for AT&T.
He was a former resident of Springfield, Mo., before moving to Rockaway in 1982.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Elks Lodge and was a 32nd-degree Mason.
He enjoyed playing the French horn, fishing, golfing and flying radio-controlled planes.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Satterfield.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie Harris and Jerry of Ridgedale, Mo., and Julie Satterfield and David Forrester of Springfield; one son and daughter-in-law, Russ Carroll Satterfield and Gail of Rockaway Beach; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth and Joe Satterfield.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. today at Forsyth Whelchel Funeral Home in Forsyth, Mo. Burial will be at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Elks Lodge or the Arthritis Foundation.
