Hubert Vester, 90, of Dickson, Tenn., formerly of Corning, Ark., died Sunday at his residence.
He retired from General Motors, St. Louis and had served as an elder in Pamona Church of Christ, West End Church of Christ and Corning Church of Christ.
He was married to Evelyn Vester. She preceded him in death on Nov. 18, 1992. Later, on Sept. 7, 1993, he married Freda Vester. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Veleta Pringle of Dickson, Tenn.; one son, James Vester of St. Louis; one stepdaughter, Kay Tapio of Las Vegas; two stepsons, Dr. George Foster of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Bill Foster of Washington; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning, Ark. A graveside service was at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Corning Cemetery with Kippy Woods officiating.
