GRAVETTE — Juanita Philips, 87, of Gravette died Feb. 22, 2004, at Bentonville Manor. She was born July 1, 1916, in Centerton to Hugh and Nellie Austin Fair. She was an administrative assistant at Gravette Medical Center. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Gravette. She was also a member of the Gravette Jolly Good Times Club, and she enjoyed playing cards, sewing, crocheting and growing African violets. She was preceded in death by her husbard, Arvis R. Phillips, on April 7, 1989.
Survivors include one son, Dale Phillips and wife Dee of Siloam Springs; one daughter, Linda Haynes and husband Jack of Del City, Okla.; one brother, Joe Fair of Gravette; one sister, Evalyn Kirby of Gravette; four grandchildren; two great-grand-children.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Service in Gravette with the Rev. John Powell and Bert Phillips officiating.
Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery at Gravette.
Pallbearers will be Kim Hendren, Jimm Hendren, Julian Hendren, David Willis, Dodie Evans and Mike Cowick.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Cemetery Association.
