Amos Obituary
Amos Lingo, 86, of Van Buren died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, in Van Buren. He was born Feb. 19, 1924, in Rudy. He was retired from the Van Buren Water Department and the widower of Gracie Lingo-Sharrah.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel with burial at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam.
He is survived by three daughters, Mary Terrill and Linda Jones, both of Alma, and Barbara McGlasson of Cameron; one son, Claude Lingo of Alma; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joey and Fred Terrill, Robert Lingo, Larry Bernard, Jason Johnson and Jack Knight.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Gracie Obituary
Gracie Lingo, 85, of Van Buren, Arkansas, died, Sunday, November 7, 2010 in a local hospital.
She was born October 30, 1925 in Short, Oklahoma.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her husband, Amos Lingo of the home; three daughters, Mary Terrill of Alma, AR, Barbara McGlasson of Cameron, OK, and Linda Jones of Alma, AR; one son, Claude Lingo of Alma, AR; one sister, Ruth Lingo of Ozark, AR; one brother, Claude Sharrah of Van Buren, AR; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Graveside service wase 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Fred Terrill, Joey Terrill, Chris Star, Larry Bernard, Robert Lingo, and Jason Johnson.
