Pablo Castaneda Rivas, 70, of Hartman died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Palo Alto, Mexico, Catholic, and self-employed.
He is survived by three daughters, Maria Del Refujio Rivas De Rodriguez of Granite Shoals, Texas, Graciela Rivas of Cottonwood, Texas, and Alta Rivas de Gomez of Russellville; two sons, Raul Rivas of Webster, Texas, and Reyes Rivas of New Orleans, La.; parents, Reyes Rivas Marmolejo and Maximina Castaneda De Rosales; three sisters, Angelina Rivas Castaneda of Leon, Mexico, and Blasa Rives Castaneda and Maria De La Luz Rivas Castaneda, both of Aguas, Mexico; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and companion, Mary Kay Thompson.
Graveside services and burial were at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at West Mount Zion Cemetery with Father William Wewers officiating.
Pallbearers were Raul Rivas, Reyes Rivas, Manuel Jaramillo, and Saul Gomez.
