Toy Lea Owen, age 75, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 10, 2008, at Southridge Village Nursing Center in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Born in Ft. Worth, Texas, on November 12, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Farmer and Ima (Houston) Laymance.
She married Johnnie Owen in November of 1951. Mrs. Owen and her husband had been residents of Quitman for the past two years. She was a retired dance instructor. Mrs. Owen was a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Mrs. Owen is survived by her husband, Johnnie Owen of Quitman; two sons, Gary Owen and Dwayne Owen; one brother, Donald Ray Laymance; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Owen is also survived by other relatives and her friends.
